Thanksgiving Prayer (Hodu) - Part Three
This passage is recited each morning as a conclusion to 1 Chronicles, chapter 16. It is a compendium of verses from Psalms.
Save Your people, and bless Your inheritance, and guide them and uplift them forever. (Psalms 28:9)
Our soul waited for God, He is our salvation and shield. (Psalms 33:20)
For our hearts will rejoice in Him, s in His Holy Name we trust. (Psalms 33:21)
May Your grace be upon us, oh Lord, as we yearned for You. (Psalms 33:22)
Show us Your grace, Oh God, and give us Your salvation. (Psalms 85:8)
Arise, help us, and redeem us for the sake of Your lovingkindness. (Psalms 44:27)
I am the Lord your God Who has raised you up from the land of Egypt, open your mouth wide and I will fill it.
(Psalms 81:11)
Happy is the nation for whom this is so, happy is the nation that God is their Lord. (Psalms 144:15)
And I will trust in Your grace, my heart will rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to God because He has given me all. (Psalms 13:6)
