Job, arguably the most intriguing character of the Bible, reminds us again that God loves our prayers.
But why do the sages insist that Job's words refer to group prayer? A simple reading of the verse shows no difference between individual and communal prayer!

God's greatness when answering a lone person's prayer is evident - to that person alone. By praying with a congregation, we amplify our prayers, expand God's area to respond, and proclaim His greatness beyond a factor of one
